Coaching is an interactive process which supports individuals and teams in accelerating their development, achieving their goals and improving their results. By using appropriate tools and work methods, a professional coach guides the client through the process of setting goals, optimizing actions, making decisions and finding answers. Coaching seeks to find the solutions within the client.
Mentoring is based on a partner relation with a focus on developing specific skills. The mentor plays the role of a Greek teacher who uses the client’s experience and his own to teach and share information that improves the client’s skills in a given field. The mentor also helps the mentee along their way, pointing out areas where missteps may occur and what solutions to apply in which situation.

Before we start working together, we always discuss the contract with the sponsor (superior) and the coachee (the person with whom individual meetings will be held). The best way to understand what coaching for managers or mentoring sessions really are is to schedule a meeting during which we will present all the details.
